Napier Hotel
A strong contender for Melbourne's Best Looking Pub! The first time I shot The Napier I arrived too close to sunrise and missed the moment when the streetlights and the night sky produce that magical mix of light. The following day I got there early and shot it over 20 minutes, so I had the option to choose the shot with the perfect mix of lighting. Luckily at that time of day the wind is amazingly calm so the leaves on the trees remain still during the 60 second exposure - I especially love the glow from the street lighting on the trees in Moor St.
